CONCEPT
300 ft Under is a comedic twist on classic horror movie tropes. The book focuses on the harsh realities of a typical college experience written within this horror franchise light. It pulls from the typical visuals associated with the two contrasting areas, the flashy extremes of the horror world and the scholastic college lifestyle, and companies them in new unexpected ways. The goal of this piece is to bring some humor and engagement through the tongue-in-cheek visuals and langue used. The campaign features three book cover design options as well as digital advertisements for a future book signing event.
